Carles Gil recorded one goal and two assists to lead the New England Revolution to a 3-1 victory over the Columbus Crew on Sunday. The match concluded the Crew’s three-game win streak and four-game unbeaten run. Brais Méndez opened the scoring for Columbus in the eighth minute before Matt Polster equalized in the 32nd. Dor Turgeman gave the Revolution the lead late in the first half, and Gil added the final goal in the 79th minute.
