New fine reimbursement system could have saved players $1.7 million annually

The NFL and NFL Players Association introduced a new fine reimbursement system that would have saved players approximately $1.7 million per year in recent years. In previous years, about 50 players would qualify for a 50-percent refund, and around 200 players would receive a 100-percent refund yearly.
