New half-marathon scheduled for Norwich city centre in May

Norwich will host its first city centre half-marathon since 1993 on May 3, organized by EPIC Norfolk. The event will span 13.1 miles, starting and finishing on Red Lion Street, showcasing local landmarks like Norwich Castle and Cathedral. Race organizer Steven Hitcham believes this addition will complement the existing Run Norwich 10km event held in August. EPIC Norfolk, a not-for-profit group, aims to provide accessible running opportunities for various community members, including older adults and those with disabilities.
