New Orleans Saints place Ty Chandler and Moliki Matavao on injured reserve

Summary

The New Orleans Saints have placed running back Ty Chandler and tight end Moliki Matavao on injured reserve due to season-ending knee injuries. Both players sustained their injuries during the Week 2 preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams. With Alvin Kamara already sidelined with a sprained MCL, the Saints are expected to rely on Travis Etienne Jr., Kendre Miller, and recently acquired Zamir White for their backfield needs.
