New ranch rodeo event announced for Tri-State Fair in Amarillo

The inaugural Sheriff's Stockyard Showdown Ranch Rodeo will take place on September 18 at the Amarillo National Center during the Tri-State Fair. Organized by the Potter County Law Enforcement Association and Randall County Sheriff's Association, the event aims to support local law enforcement and foster community ties. The rodeo will feature teams from the Texas Panhandle, including a special law enforcement team, competing in traditional ranch events. Tickets cost $22 and include admission to the fair. Participation is limited to 15 teams, with 10 confirmed thus far.
