New York Giants face uncertainty entering 2026 season opener against Dallas

The New York Giants prepare to face the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium for their 2026 season opener under new head coach John Harbaugh. Team performance hinges on several key questions, including the recovery status of wide receiver Malik Nabers following his ACL surgery. Quarterback Jaxson Dart enters his second season navigating a new offensive system installed by coordinator Matt Nagy. Defensively, the team features new acquisitions DJ Reader and Shelby Harris, who join a unit tasked with improving a run defense that ranked 31st in the league last season. Coordinator Dennard Wilson will oversee this revamped defensive front as the roster prepares for a challenging opening matchup against a high-powered Cowboys passing attack.
