New York Giants fans report work disruption after Sunday games

A survey of 2,004 NFL supporters indicates that 25.4 percent of New York Giants fans experience work disruption on Mondays following Sunday football games. This rate ranks seventh highest across the league, placing the fan base above the national average of 20.5 percent. Participants identified coffee, energy drinks, and breakfast to-go as their primary recovery methods after game days. The study also found that more than one in 12 New York Giants fans have used paid time off to recover from Sunday games. While Miami Dolphins fans reported the highest rate of work disruption at 45.8 percent, Los Angeles Chargers fans topped the survey's overall Monday Morning Recovery Index. The New York Giants begin their 2026 season on September 13 when the Dallas team visits MetLife Stadium for a Sunday night matchup.
