New York Giants release former Alabama offensive lineman Evan Neal

The New York Giants released offensive lineman Evan Neal as part of the team's roster cuts on Sunday. Neal, a former first-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft, spent his entire professional career with the organization. He appeared in 29 games, including 27 starts, since joining the league. The lineman did not appear in any games for the Giants during the 2025 season and entered free agency before re-signing with the club this past offseason. Prior to his professional career, Neal played three seasons at Alabama between 2019 and 2021, where he started at left guard, right tackle, and left tackle. He earned All-America honors during his final collegiate season in 2021.
