New York Giants sign Jalin Hyatt to the team practice squad

The New York Giants signed Jalin Hyatt to their practice squad after releasing the wide receiver on Sunday. The team cut Hyatt to reach the 53-man roster limit following a training camp where he suffered a leg injury. Hyatt has not practiced since the injury occurred in West Virginia. Selected in the 2023 NFL Draft after winning the Fred Belitnikoff Award at Tennessee, Hyatt has recorded 36 catches for 470 yards during his tenure with the club. He is the only one of four players cut on Sunday to be brought back by the Giants. Other players released during the roster transition included Evan Neal, Darius Muasau, and Eric Gray, while offensive lineman Josh Ezeudu was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs.
