New York Jets reach agreement on reworked contract with Jordan Meredith

The New York Jets have agreed to a renegotiated one-year contract with center Jordan Meredith following his acquisition from the Las Vegas Raiders. The deal is valued at $2 million, with $1.9 million guaranteed, providing the player with increased roster security. Meredith previously held a non-guaranteed $3.52 million salary as a restricted free agent. The adjustment allows the Jets to create $1.16 million in additional salary cap space. Meredith joined the Jets along with a 2029 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round draft pick. He appeared in 14 games during the 2025 season before being sidelined late in the year due to an ankle injury. His new contract includes a $650,000 signing bonus and a $5,882 per-game active roster bonus.
