New York Jets sign former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Brant Banks

Brant Banks has joined the New York Jets practice squad. The 26-year-old offensive lineman was released by the Green Bay Packers during final roster cutdowns for the 2026 season. Banks originally signed with Green Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2025 and appeared in two games during his tenure there. During the 2026 preseason, he played 46 offensive snaps at right tackle and allowed one sack across 31 pass-blocking opportunities. He enters the Jets organization as a depth option following his departure from the Packers' 53-man roster competition. While the Packers maintain the ability to sign him back, Banks now focuses on his transition to the New York practice squad.
