New York Jets waive kicker Younghoe Koo, sign Jason Sanders

The New York Jets waived kicker Younghoe Koo on June 3, 2026, signing veteran Jason Sanders as his replacement. Koo struggled since being released by the Atlanta Falcons early in the 2025 season. During his tenure with the Falcons, he made 178 of 205 field goals and earned a Pro Bowl selection. Koo faced challenges after suffering a leg injury and missed a crucial game-tying field goal in the 2025 season.
