Newcastle prepares for Roosters star Robert Toia in grand final

The Newcastle Knights will face the Sydney Roosters in the grand final, scheduled for October 6, 2026. Key for Newcastle is monitoring Robert Toia, a breakout star for the Roosters, who has scored 15 tries and averaged 112 running metres per game this season. Toia's partnership with Mark Nawaqanitawase is particularly effective, making their offense difficult to defend against. Toia has also demonstrated his strong defensive capabilities, with a tackle efficiency of 89.5%. Newcastle must remain vigilant against this attacking duo to succeed in the upcoming match.
