Newcastle United and Sunderland monitor Roma winger Matias Soule

Newcastle United have joined the race for Roma attacker Matias Soule as the summer transfer window approaches its deadline. The 23-year-old Argentina international has been a long-standing target for Sunderland, which previously made an approach for the player in July. Roma may allow the winger to leave the club before the deadline if their search for additional attacking reinforcements proves successful. While Newcastle and Sunderland represent the primary Premier League interest, other clubs including Fulham, Everton, Brighton, and AC Milan have also held discussions regarding his availability. Newcastle has maintained an active search for attacking talent, having also evaluated players such as Matias Fernandez-Pardo and Bilal El Khannouss. The situation remains fluid as Roma assesses its remaining options in the market.
