Newcastle United focuses on youth in summer transfer window

Summary

Newcastle United's summer transfer window is seeing a clear trend towards younger players, with significant departures of older squad members. Players over the age of 30, including Kieran Trippier and Matt Targett, have left, while 18-year-olds Sean Steur, Ewen Jaouen, and Bazoumana Toure join the squad. Johan Manzambi, a 20-year-old, is also expected to finalize his move to Newcastle after Switzerland's World Cup exit. The average age of their potential starting eleven could drop significantly, raising questions about the team's potential success with so many young players.
