Newcastle United targets Marcus Rashford amid Barcelona negotiations
Summary

Newcastle United is evaluating a move for Marcus Rashford of Manchester United as they seek to rebuild their attack. Following Anthony Gordon's departure to Barcelona, Rashford emerged as a key target. He performed well during a loan spell at Barcelona, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists. Barcelona holds a purchase option on Rashford but may negotiate a lower fee. His wages present a challenge, although Newcastle's recent sale of Gordon strengthens their purchasing power.
