Newcastle's Jaissle works on rebuilding amid player transitions
Summary

Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle takes charge as the club undergoes a significant rebuild. Meeting reporters at a pre-season training camp in Spain, Jaissle emphasized that Newcastle is in "transition." The club has signed five new players, all of whom are new to the Premier League, including several young talents. With captain Bruno Guimaraes set to leave for Arsenal, filling that gap is a top priority. Jaissle must also implement his strategies quickly, as Newcastle's season opener against Liverpool is scheduled for August 23.

Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle has quickly got to work. Given the scale of this rebuild, perhaps, it was not a surprise that the 38-year-old repeatedly said the club was in "transition" when he first met with reporters at the club's pre-season training camp in Spain. Newcastle have signed five players who, like Jaissle, have never experienced the Premier League before.
