Newport signs Matt Dibley-Dias on loan from Fulham

Newport County has secured a short-term loan for midfielder Matt Dibley-Dias from Premier League club Fulham. The 22-year-old joins Newport as their 11th signing this summer, reuniting with head coach Hayden Mullins, who previously managed Dibley-Dias at Fulham’s under-21 team. Dibley-Dias made 31 appearances across two seasons with Mullins and contributed to winning the Premier League Cup in the 2023-24 season. He has been on loan with various teams, including Chesterfield and Braintree Town, and is expected to provide added competition in Newport's midfield. He could make his debut against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
