Neymar sidelined for a minute as new rules debut in Brasileirão

In the first weekend of the Brasileirão, several new rules were enforced. Neymar had to leave the pitch for one minute after Santos goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão required treatment during a 0-0 match against Vasco. Additionally, Botafogo's Arthur Cabral was sent off under the new 'Vini Jr. Law' for covering his mouth during an argument with the referee. The 'anti-crowding' gesture was introduced by referee Anderson Daronco during Fluminense's match against Palmeiras as players rushed toward him following a disputed call. The matches are ongoing as these new rules take shape in Brazilian soccer.
