NFL and NASA partner for astronaut appearances and flyovers at selected games

The NFL has entered a partnership with NASA to feature astronaut appearances and aircraft flyovers at specific games during the 2026-27 season. The initiative aims to showcase space exploration and aeronautics, aligning with NASA's ongoing Artemis program. The activations are scheduled to take place at four games between September 13 and October 11, with all selected matchups featuring 1 p.m. kickoffs. Participating venues include Acrisure Stadium, M&T Bank Stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, and MetLife Stadium. NASA officials confirmed there is no financial exchange between the two organizations. The promotional tour will culminate in a "MAX POWER" air show and expo at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on November 7-8.
