From 215 of 256 games in 2002 airing on Sunday afternoons, this decreased to 198 of 272 games in 2025. The shift in viewership has made Sunday Ticket less essential for many fans, who can now catch more games on prime time or via local broadcasts. Despite its price increase, dedicated fans remain willing to pay for the service.
