NFL teams finalize practice preparations for Week 1 season openers

NFL teams are finishing their weekly training sessions ahead of Week 1 matchups scheduled for this Sunday. The New York Jets face the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium at 1 p.m., while the Buffalo Bills travel to Reliant Stadium to play the Houston Texans at the same time. Jets practice footage featured tight end Kenyon Sadiq and recent trade acquisition Jordan Meredith. In Buffalo, the team monitored the status of its receiving corps, which appears healthy for Sunday's opener. The Bills are also managing a limited running back group, with James Cook, Ray Davis, and Frank Gore, Jr. available. Defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard is preparing for his first game in the role for Buffalo, and Bradley Chubb is set for his first appearance with the team. Both clubs enter these contests aiming to improve on their respective results from the previous season.
