NFL teams release 12 former Florida players on league cutdown day

Twelve former Florida Gators were released or waived by NFL franchises during the league's roster deadline on Sunday. The cuts included notable names such as Kyle Trask, Dameon Pierce, and Van Jefferson. Among the moves, the Browns waived Tyreak Sapp and Kingsley Eguakun, while the Packers waived injured player Trey Dean III. Additional players released or waived across the league include Jeremiah Moon, Trikweze Bridges, Amari Burney, Brien Taylor Jr., Kaiir Elam, and Marco Wilson.
