Nick Nurse highlights areas for 76ers to compete with Knicks

Philadelphia 76ers coach Nick Nurse indicated that his team needs to improve in order to match the level of the defending champion New York Knicks. Addressing the media ahead of the season opener at Madison Square Garden, Nurse emphasized the need for more size on the wing and greater roster depth. The Knicks, fresh off a championship victory, swept the 76ers in the previous Eastern Conference semifinals. Despite offseason additions like LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, Nurse believes that such moves alone do not resolve all team concerns. The 76ers finished last season with a record of 45-37 and now face a significant test against New York to kick off the new campaign.
