Nick Suzuki makes strong case for higher rank among NHL centers

Summary

Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki has been ranked ninth among NHL centers in the NHL Network's latest list, released on August 24. This marks an improvement from his previous ranking of tenth, following a career-high 101 points during the 2025-26 season. Suzuki's performance included 29 goals, 72 assists, and a plus-37 rating. Additionally, he earned the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the league's best defensive forward.
