Nick Walsh will referee the Celtic and Rangers Premier Sports Cup match

The Scottish Football Association has appointed Nick Walsh to officiate the upcoming Premier Sports Cup quarter-final between Celtic and Rangers at Ibrox this Sunday. Frank Connor and Daniel McFarlane will serve as assistant referees, with Kevin Clancy appointed as the fourth official. Andrew Dallas and Steven McLean will oversee the VAR duties for the fixture. This match marks an additional derby encounter for the season, as the clubs were originally scheduled to meet later in September. No away fans are permitted to attend the match at Ibrox. Walsh, the only UEFA elite-status referee in Scotland, previously officiated two meetings between these teams last season, including a Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden and a Premiership match at Celtic Park.
