Nick Woltemade's transition into a midfield position has been challenging, according to Bundesliga commentator Kevin Hatchard. Woltemade, who began his career at St James' Park strongly, found himself further from his natural center forward role as the season progressed. Hatchard emphasized that Woltemade's skills are better suited for attacking positions rather than a midfield role, which he described as 'alien' to the player. The German international is expected to be utilized in a more attacking capacity for both Newcastle and the German national team moving forward.
