Nico Williams' agent confirms Arsenal interest before contract extension

Summary

Nico Williams' agent has revealed that Arsenal pursued the winger before he signed a 10-year extension with Athletic Club. This contract keeps him at the club until 2035 and increases his release clause by over 50%, making any potential transfer unlikely. The agent noted interest from several clubs, including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and PSG. Despite this attention, Williams chose loyalty to Athletic Club.
