Nicolas Jackson approves transfer to Aston Villa from Chelsea

Summary

Nicolas Jackson has agreed to a move from Chelsea to Aston Villa, with negotiations between the clubs set to intensify. The 25-year-old forward, previously on loan at Bayern Munich, has been identified as a top target by Aston Villa manager Unai Emery, who previously coached him at Villarreal. Chelsea seeks a fee of approximately £65 million for Jackson, who has recorded 30 goals in 81 appearances for the club. His potential arrival may lead to Tammy Abraham's departure, as he has struggled for playing time since joining from Besiktas. Jackson's deal is part of Aston Villa's preparations for their upcoming Champions League campaign.
