Nicolo Bulega has set two new WorldSBK records ahead of his transfer to MotoGP with Valentino Rossi’s VR46 Racing team. Bulega clinched the WorldSBK title during a home race in Cremona and achieved a clean sweep of all three races in Estoril, bringing his season total to 28 wins out of 33. He also surpassed Jonathan Rea's points record from 2019, accumulating 664 points. With three races left in the season, Bulega aims to break the record for most podiums in a season, currently held by Rea at 34. Bulega has been testing Ducati’s 850cc bike, deemed advantageous as MotoGP regulations change in 2027.
