NiJaree Canady throws 1.1 innings in WCWS Game 1 against Texas

Canady entered the game but was removed after 22 pitches due to a lack of offensive support from Texas Tech. The Red Raiders initially took a 1-0 lead but fell behind as the Longhorns capitalized on errors in the field. With Game 2 set for June 4 at 7 p.m. Central, Canady is expected to start again, but Glasco faces a decision on her performance against Texas.
