Nikki Bartlett and Henrik Goesch finished first at the Ironman Wales event held in Tenby on Sunday. Competing in wet and windy conditions, Goesch secured the men's title with a time of eight hours, 31 minutes, and 31 seconds. This victory marks his first win in an Ironman professional event. In the women's professional field, Bartlett finished with a time of nine hours, 45 minutes, and 37 seconds to claim her second title at the venue. The event, which is in its 14th year, consisted of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run. Thousands of athletes participated in the age-grade competition alongside the professional field. Bartlett identified the course as her favorite on the circuit, citing the support of spectators and volunteers as central to the event's atmosphere.
