Nikki Cross, known as Nikki Storm, and Big Damo have acquired UK indie company PROGRESS Wrestling and the Seattle-based DEFY Wrestling. Their purchase, announced on May 26, follows the merger of PROGRESS and DEFY in early 2024 aimed at expanding their international reach. Dave Meltzer reports that Storm and Damo fully own PROGRESS while holding a majority stake in DEFY. Storm is set to compete at PROGRESS Chapter 196: Scorchio on July 26, marking her first independent appearance after leaving WWE in April. Damo last competed for PROGRESS in April 2026 during the WrestleMania weekend.
