After pitching her idea through a detailed presentation, McMahon responded by calling it 'genius' and suggested adjustments to make the character more relatable. The character became a part of WWE programming in June 2021 and led to Cross winning the Raw Women's Championship, demonstrating her successful transition from a different wrestling persona in the NXT brand.
