Nitro Motorsports has scrapped a planned tribute to Kyle Busch, which was set to feature a special paint scheme on ARCA Menards Series driver Thomas Annunziata's car during Friday’s race at Lime Rock Park. The tribute, inspired by Busch’s iconic M&M’s Toyota, was developed quickly following his death in May, but issues with the timeline prevented completion. Annunziata wanted to honor Busch as he considered him his childhood hero and major inspiration for his racing career. Although the tribute will not be seen on the track, it highlights Busch's enduring impact on upcoming drivers. Annunziata currently stands second in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings.
