No. 13 Maryland field hockey shuts out Drexel 3-0 in opener

The No. 13 Maryland field hockey team secured a 3-0 victory over Drexel in their season opener of the Conference Cup on August 28, 2026. Freshman Aida Ierubino opened the scoring with her first collegiate goal in the first quarter. Babs van Hest also scored her first goal as a Terp, and Maddie Vasilios added a third goal in the third quarter.
