No. 23 Illinois women’s basketball won 88-44 against UIS in a preseason exhibition on Friday night at State Farm Center. Four players scored in double figures, led by Gretchen Dolan and Aaliyah Guyton, who each recorded 14 points. Illinois built a strong lead with a 16-2 run in the first quarter and continued to expand the margin, leading 54-22 at halftime. The team will next face Detroit Mercy in their regular season opener on November 4.
