No. 5 Concordia-St. Paul volleyball team defeats University of Sioux Falls

The No. 5 Concordia-St. Paul volleyball team earned a 3-1 victory over the University of Sioux Falls at the Gangelhoff Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Saturday. The Golden Bears secured the win with set scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-13, and 25-18. Although the Cougars dropped the opening frame, they responded to take the second set 25-20 behind 15 kills and a.324 hitting percentage. Concordia-St. Paul regained momentum in the third and fourth sets to close out the match and move to 2-0 in NSIC play. The University of Sioux Falls drops to 4-6 overall and 0-2 in conference competition. The Cougars are scheduled to host Minnesota State and No. 8 St. Cloud State next weekend.
