Noah Dunham earns starting center role for Washington State

Washington State offensive lineman Noah Dunham has secured the starting center position ahead of the team's season opener against No. 17 Washington this Sunday. Now in his fourth season with the program, Dunham spent the last three years in a reserve capacity, appearing in limited action while learning behind veterans. He successfully transitioned from guard to center during the spring and fall camps to claim the lead spot in coach Kirby Moore’s offense. Dunham attributes his development to a willingness to communicate with teammates when struggling and a disciplined approach to learning from competition. After redshirting in 2023 and playing in limited games over the following two seasons, he is now set to snap the ball to quarterback Caden Pinnick. The Cougars enter the game as they look to establish a position in the upper half of the Pac-12.
