Noah Lyles is capitalizing on a summer without major championships, training freely at Charlety Stadium in Paris. The eight-time world champion is enjoying the ability to run fast without the pressure to peak for specific events. He recently recorded a top time of 9.8 seconds in the 100m in Rome and set a best of 14.67 seconds in the 150m at Ostrava. With no major meets scheduled until the US Championships in late July, Lyles is also focusing on personal interests outside athletics, including attending a manga convention and planning a role in the Ultimate Championships in Budapest in September.
