Norfolk Tides drop doubleheader; Chesapeake Baysox fall in extra innings

The Norfolk Tides lost both games of a doubleheader against the Nashville Sounds on August 24, 2026. In Game 1, the Tides were no-hit and fell 2-0. Meanwhile, the Chesapeake Baysox lost 6-5 to the Richmond Flying Squirrels in 10 innings, despite back-to-back homers from Wehiwa Aloy and Aron Estrada. Félix Bautista made a brief appearance in the game for Chesapeake, walking three batters during a rocky first inning. Both teams struggled offensively throughout the day, with Norfolk failing to find any rhythm at the plate.
