North Central quarterback Chase Grove commits to Iowa football

North Central junior quarterback Chase Grove announced his commitment to the Iowa football program on Saturday. The 6-foot-3 prospect, rated as a three-star recruit in the 2028 class by 247sports, finalized his decision while attending the Hawkeyes’ home game against Iowa State in Iowa City. Grove is the third player to join the Iowa 2028 recruiting class. Through four games this season, the quarterback has completed 65.4% of his passes for 1,004 yards and 10 touchdowns. His recruitment included offers from several Power Four programs, including Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Purdue, and North Carolina. As a sophomore starter last season, he recorded 1,901 passing yards and 19 touchdowns.
