North Greenville defeats King in Conference Carolinas volleyball opener

The King University women’s volleyball team opened its Conference Carolinas schedule on Wednesday night at the Student Center Complex in Bristol, Tennessee. The team suffered a straight-sets loss to North Greenville, which secured the victory with set scores of 25–10, 25–13, and 25–22. North Greenville dominated the match with a.301 hitting percentage, while King struggled to find rhythm, recording only 26 kills on.019 hitting. The loss moves King to 5–3 overall and 0–1 in conference play. Conversely, North Greenville improves its record to 5–4 and moves to 1–0 within the conference. The Crusaders maintained control throughout the contest, utilizing consistent defensive play and efficient hitting to secure the three-set win.
