Jackson required assistance leaving the field and was evaluated in a medical tent following a three-yard run. Backup quarterback Chaston Ditta replaced him for the remainder of the drive, which concluded in a punt for North Texas. Despite the injury, Jackson returned to the lineup at the 3:54 mark of the third quarter, though he displayed a visible limp. Before exiting, Jackson recorded 154 passing yards on 18-of-21 attempts and contributed 22 rushing yards. The game remains in progress with Indiana leading the Mean Green.
