Northampton Town sign Nottingham Forest defender Josh Powell on season loan

Northampton Town completed the signing of Nottingham Forest defender Josh Powell on a season-long loan deal. The 21-year-old moves to the club to provide defensive depth and competition across the back line. Manager Chris Hogg confirmed the move, noting that Powell is capable of playing as a full-back or in other defensive positions. The defender arrives with previous experience in League Two, having made 27 appearances during prior loan spells with Colchester United and Fleetwood Town.
