Northeastern New York PGA inducts Rick Wolcott and Kent Tarkleson into Hall of Fame

The Northeastern New York PGA has announced the induction of Rick Wolcott and Kent Tarkleson into its Hall of Fame. These two longtime professionals represent the 49th and 50th members to join the section's hall. An induction ceremony is scheduled for October 26 at Mohawk Golf Club, coinciding with a celebration for this year's section award winners. Wolcott, currently the head pro emeritus at Mohawk, has maintained a three-decade tenure within the section and earned multiple awards for his contributions to golf instruction and development. Tarkleson, who recently relocated to Michigan to focus on family commitments, served extensively on the section's board, including a term as president. Both men have received Golf Professional of the Year honors during their careers. The section's selection process marks the first time it has named an induction class since 2023.
