Northwestern field hockey secures overtime win against Duke and blanks Boston College

Northwestern field hockey recorded two notable results over the weekend, starting with an overtime comeback win against No. 6 Duke on September 4. Trailing by two goals in the second half, the Wildcats tied the game behind a pair of penalty-corner goals from Ilse Tromp before Sol Martinez netted the game-winner. Ashley Sessa and Olivia Bent-Cole returned to the lineup to bolster the team's offense, which registered 14 shots on goal against Duke.
