Norway soccer federation supports FIFA complaint over Trump Peace Prize

The Norwegian Football Federation has backed a formal complaint to FIFA regarding the Peace Prize awarded to President Donald Trump in December. Federation president Lise Klaveness stated that they sent a letter supporting a complaint by human rights group FairSquare, which claims FIFA leaders violated their code of ethics by engaging with Trump. This move comes ahead of Norway's World Cup campaign, starting June 16 against Iraq. Klaveness discussed the complaint with FIFA officials during a recent meeting in Budapest. FIFA has not commented on the matter.
