The Norwegian Football Federation (NFF), led by President Lise Klaveness, has confirmed its support for a complaint against FIFA President Gianni Infantino. The issue revolves around alleged breaches of FIFA’s Code of Ethics related to Infantino's political neutrality, specifically his public support for U.S. President Donald Trump. The complaint, initially filed by FairSquare in December, seeks an investigation into Infantino's actions surrounding the FIFA Peace Prize awarded to Trump. Klaveness stated that the letter of support is causing political reactions and indicated a plan to push for follow-up actions after the upcoming World Cup. FIFA has not yet responded to the NFF's position.
