Notre Dame adds cornerback Jayden Sanders, son of former athletes

Jayden Sanders, a cornerback from Michigan, transferred to Notre Dame this offseason. Standing at 6-foot and 195 pounds, he has shown promise during practice and in the Blue-Gold Game. Sanders has collegiate athletics in his genes; his father was an all-conference cornerback at TCU and his mother competed in track at Houston. While he currently serves as a rotational player, he carries potential as a future starter, especially when paired with current injuries in the lineup.
